For this assignment, I have spent quite some time on creating three unique levels, each with a distinct atmosphere. There is also a bonus level with a bit different gameplay. The provided assets have been used, with some minor changes and fixes, for example:
- both lamp posts are now functional including light emissive material
- boss is physically bigger and has more firepower
- restyled the menu UI somewhat, changed some texts
- enlarged the ground textures
- added sky box textures, fog and replaced the directional lights for spooky atmosphere
- replaced the music by slightly edited acid tracks
- fixed a bug in the door mechanism (doors with ID 0 are now default unlocked, as the tooltip describes)
- fixed a bug in the pistol shooter (projectiles were fired from progressively decreasing altitude until they were even fired from below the terrain)
- bonus level: composed three new powerful guns from existing assets
